Robby Could Be Single After 'The Bachelorette'

by Caitlin Gallagher

The moment of truth is upon us, Bachelor Nation — JoJo will decide between Robby Hayes and Jordan Rodgers during the Aug. 1 episode of The Bachelorette. No matter whom she chooses, there's a chance that Robby could be single after The Bachelorette. While I see no point in spoiling The Bachelorette for yourself with Reality Steve's spoilers, I see no harm in doing some light investigation of what Robby has said (or hasn't said) on social media or interviews to see if he's possibly single after The Bachelorette. I consider Robby the lesser of two evils, so I hope he's with JoJo over Jordan, but I'd be more than OK if JoJo ended up single after her quest for love — and thus, Robby would be single too.

Considering that Robby had recently ended a long-term relationship before The Bachelorette, if JoJo didn't choose him, he could potentially be single and taking some time for himself. If it's revealed he isn't in a relationship after the final rose, there are multiple scenarios for what could have happened. The simplest is that JoJo chose Jordan. However, based on how torn JoJo has seemed in previews for the final rose, she could have denied both men. Another option is that she accepted Robby's proposal, but they have broken up during the time between the final rose and when the episode actually airs.

If you think it's ridiculous to look at Robby's social media to see if he spoiled The Bachelorette, never forget Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe, who ended up spoiling her own season when she posted a photo on Snapchat of her and Shawn together in bed. While JoJo, Robby, and Jordan need to keep their personal social media accounts vague until the final episode airs on Aug. 1, it's not out of the question that Robby could slip up and reveal something he shouldn't. Unfortunately for you curious cats out there, Robby hasn't really done that. However, he does post a bit more about JoJo on Instagram than his competition Jordan. So what does that indicate? You could say he posts more about her because he's engaged to her, but I'm more inclined to think that Jordan's lack of posts about JoJo means that she chose him and Robby's posts are memories of the good old days when he was with his beloved Joelle.

As for interviews, I haven't found anything that Robby has said to the media that hints at whether or not he is single after filming The Bachelorette. Robby has released a statement to Bustle about Chad's antics with his ex-girlfriend Hope Higginbotham, but nothing on his current relationship status. But if you've made it this far in JoJo's season without spoiling it for yourself, why start now? After the Aug. 1 episode, the world will know the truth about JoJo's decision and what her two final suitors are doing with their lives now. I just hope if JoJo didn't pick Robby, that he does enjoy the single life before jumping into another intense relationship.
