All The Looks At The 2016 VMAs, Because Outfits This Crazy Really Shouldn't Be Missed — PHOTOS
The truth is that no matter your stance on fashion, the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards red carpet is really an event that shouldn't be missed. This isn't the Oscars we're talking about. It's not the Grammys. It's not the Emmys. There is absolutely no award show like the VMAs, and the world knows it. And that's why pretty much everyone watches from beginning to end, no matter what. Will Kanye show up? What will Taylor Swift be wearing? Will Sia be wearing a crazy wig? Will Lady Gaga wear a costume made of meat? There's no telling who will attend, who will wear what, and what drama will go down during this award show, and that's what makes it so great. It's not pretentious; it's just fun.
With 2016 being a year filled with Kanye and Kim versus Taylor drama and enough Justin Bieber stories to thoroughly confuse us all about his dating life for the next three years or so, this year's VMAs are sure to impress in terms of celebrity appearances and, inevitably, celebrity fashion. Between Rihanna being awarded the Vanguard Award and performances from celebs like Ariana Grande, this year's VMAs fashion is going to be one to remember.
