Is a Lil Kim & Iggy Collaboration in the Works?

Lil' Kim obviously has a thing for remixes, which makes perfect sense because whenever she adds her two cents to another artist's song, it typically sends the Internet into a frenzy. She spit some pretty fiery lyrics when she added a verse to Beyoncé and Nicki Minaj's "Flawless" remix, and then threw fuel on the flames by dropping a Nicki Minaj diss track called "Identity Theft" a couple days later. But Kim appears to be only getting started — she just released a remix to Iggy Azalea's "Fancy."

Although the snippet Kim released comes in at just under a minute, she did a great job at making it her own. It actually sounds like she transforms into a character from Clueless with a delivery that's fun but still clever and full of that signature Lil' Kim attitude. At one point she raps, "I'm so fancy/please don't touch me/I'm fashionably late, so please don't rush me." Clearly, she does things on her own time, but does this latest remix mean that an official Lil' Kim and Iggy Azalea collaboration will happen sometime in the near future?

Ever since Kim gave birth to her baby girl Royal Reign, she's been pulling tricks out of her sleeve left and right, so I wouldn't be surprised to hear about her working with Azalea sometime soon. They already connected at the 2013 VMAs when they presented the award for Best Hip-Hip Video, and Kim even congratulated Azalea on the success of "Fancy," so she obviously counts herself as a fan. As for her take on "Fancy," it shows that she definitely hasn't lost her edge, and more importantly she doesn't really need to diss anyone in order to shine on a track.
