There's no doubt most of us like to make fun of Justin Bieber, and his recent Comedy Central roast proves just that. Even though the singer hasn't made the greatest decisions, on more than one occasion, it seems the Biebs is trying to make amends and change his ways for the better. In fact, at the moment, Justin Bieber doesn't want a girlfriend, because he realizes he needs to focus on making himself a better person. He told USA Today,
Well, at this point in my life I'm so focused on myself that I'm not looking for a girlfriend. I'm just trying to make sure I'm 100 percent so I can add to the person I want to be with. I want a girl I can trust, who I can lean on. This business is hard, and I want someone I can confide in.
Wow. That might be one of the most mature things Bieber has ever said. There's no doubt being throw into the spotlight at such a young age really threw the singer for a loop. Fame and money can really change a person, but let's hope he is being honest about this newfound revelation about himself and women. I know I don't need to see anymore headlines like the many that involved Bieber and Selena Gomez.
Bieber swears that he is now on a new journey in his life and is "figuring some stuff out." He's even weeding out the bad seeds of his life. He said, "Yeah, I left a lot of people behind who weren't on the same journey I was on, and I've got a lot of new people in my life who are pouring into me, and not taking away from me."
It's going to take a lot more than some adult-like quotes to get people to belieb in him again. He has a long road ahead, but if he stays true to his word and proves himself through his actions, Bieber might just find others looking at him in a positive light and even respecting him.
