What Will Kim Kardashian Wear To The CFDA Awards? Here Are 5 Stylish Predictions
This year, Kim Kardashian will be presenting Instagram with a CFDA Award (which actually makes a lot of sense — after all, she did just publish a book of selfies), and it's cause for celebration, because lord knows she's going to wear something exciting. Will she go with something modern? Something feather-y? Something... a little cray-cray? What red carpet shenanigans do you think Kim K will get up to at this year's CFDA Awards? I, personally, can't wait to find out.
As is befitting of an event honoring fashion designers, the CFDA Awards are something of a "go big, or go home," situation. Case in point? The naked crystal dress heard 'round the world (Thanks, Rihanna). Of course, it would be pretty darn hard to top the fabulosity of a naked Rihanna draped in rose-gold Swarovski crystals, but I think we can all agree that Kardasian'll be damned if she doesn't try. Whether she actually goes naked (which wouldn't come as too much of a surprise after her Beyoncé-copycat Roberto Cavalli Met Gala gown), or wears something shocking in a completely different way, we know it's going to be a showstopper.
So what will she wear? Here are a handful of some of my top predictions.
1 and 2. Balmain
Appropriately dramatic, no? Plus, the Kardashians have a longstanding friendship with Balmain creative director Olivier Rousteing.
A total Kim K dress, if ever I saw one.
3. Ulyana Sergeenko
Kardashian loves a good jumpsuit, almost as much as she love some good cut-outs — and really, the feathered cape is just gravy.
4. Julien MacDonald
She absolutely killed it in Julien MacDonald at the BRIT Awards, why not try the winning combination again?
5. Louis Vuitton
Now, I'm not exactly advising that Kim K should wear this laser-cut leather Louis Vuitton number, but doesn't it look like something she might try? Plus, she sat front row at a recent LV show...
What do you think Kim Kardashian will wear to the CFDAs? Any way she decides to go, I'm banking on something avant garde and maybe a little out there.
