Yo, What's Finnick's Dating Status?

On Tuesday, the highly anticipated trailer for Mockingjay, Part 2 dropped, and naturally, caused hysteria amongst fans. It has been quite a while since we heard any news from the final film in the Hunger Games series and the trailer is full of goodies. One scene that stands out especially is the beautiful wedding between Sam Claflin's Finnick Odair and Stef Dawson's Annie Cresta. All of District 13 is happy and beaming and seeing Claflin being all lovey-dovey will only spur questions about his personal love life in real life, because that's just the nature of the game. So, is Sam Caflin single? He is very far from that, actually, so hold on to your hat.

Claflin is not even dating anyone as he is married to a really lovely fellow actor, Laura Haddock. And when you think of a perfect written-for-a-movie love story that could star Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey, theirs is most definitely up there. According to Claflin himself in an interview with Yahoo!, he bumped into Haddock at an audition for My Week With Marilyn, and was immediately smitten enough to call his agent and tell him, "I have just met the woman I want to marry." D'awww. They went their separate ways and the next day bumped into each other again while on public transportation. After that, a few months passed and she ended up contacting him on Facebook. And the rest is history.

By all accounts, Claflin and Haddock are still happily in love and he is just finishing up filming his next film, Me Before You, with Emilia Clarke and his BFF, Matthew Lewis.

One this is for sure: the actor is definitely NOT shy about saying how in love with his wife he is. In October 2014 he shared these adorable words about his "best friend" with The Edit:

I still feel as though I don’t deserve Laura, so I feel like I constantly have to show her that I’m a good guy. Paranoia can be a killer, but it excites me and it keeps me on my toes and it makes me work hard for her. And for some stupid reason I think she feels the same way.

All I have to say is Laura Haddock is a very lucky lady!
