Katy Perry has had quite the year. She released her fifth studio album "Witness." She ditched her dark locks for a platinum blonde pixie cut. She signed on to be a judge on the next season of American Idol. And she showed a side of herself that not many of her fans had ever seen when she live-streamed her therapy session to the world. The icing on the cake of what has been a tremendous 2017? Katy Perry is hosting the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night and you can bet that her show outfits will surely not disappoint. Because there will be plenty of costume changes, hair included — that much is guaranteed.
When the news broke that Perry had been tapped to host the VMAs, the singer released a video on Facebook along with a caption that read, "I’ve been training with MTV in zero gravity, eating astronaut ice cream and I’m on a group text with Buzz Aldrin and Neil deGrasse Tyson." You can always count on Katy Perry to never take anything too seriously, especially her "MOONWOMAN" hosting responsibilities. Perry is also a nominee tonight, up for five awards, and will be performing "Swish Swish." Needless to say, she's got a long night ahead.
