In the wake of the Star Wars actress' passing, Carrie Fisher's books have topped bestseller lists on Amazon. At the time of this writing, Fisher's three memoirs — The Princess Diarist, Wishful Drinking, and Shockaholic — hold the No. 1, 7, and 56 spots on Amazon Best Sellers in Books, with one of her novels, Postcards from the Edge, coming in at No. 8. That novel's sequel, The Best Awful, joins the aforementioned four titles in Amazon Books' Top 10 Movers & Shakers. Each of those five Carrie Fisher books currently shows an average 22,327.2 percent increase in popularity over the last 24 hours.

The hours since Fisher's passing have been filled with mourning and reflection from fans, family, and friends alike. The actress and writer — who remains best known for her work in George Lucas' original Star Wars trilogy and the 2015 sequel, The Force Awakens — is remembered as an outspoken mental health advocate, an unshirkingly self-deprecating wit, and a bold feminist.

Fisher was also an accomplished writer. In addition to being the author of three novels and three memoirs, she worked as a script doctor on numerous comedies, including Hook, The Wedding Singer, Sister Act, and The Blues Brothers.

Carrie Fisher is survived by her mother, Debbie Reynolds; her daughter, Billie Lourd; and her beloved French bulldog, Gary. She is one with the Force, and the Force is with her.
