These Vanderpump Rules stars have spoken. After many reports and much speculation, fans should be glad to know that Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz are not getting divorced. "We are madly in love," Maloney told E! News. "I feel like marriage really suits us. We've been through so much, especially since last summer." They definitely went through many ups and downs during Pump Rules Season 5, but it sure sounds like they are doing better than ever.
So much so, that Mr. and Mrs. Bubba are assuring that they are very much "blissful" and super in love with each other. Maloney said, "Everyone says the first year of marriage is the hardest, but it's been like 89 percent blissful." It's good to know that they are only 11 percent not blissful. Granted, no relationship is 100 percent perfect, which Schwartz has also made clear is the case for himself and Maloney.
"We like to think that we [exorcised] all the bad stuff," he said. "We got about 15 years worth of fighting out in about three years, so we're good now. It's been smooth sailing." The hopefully soon-to-be Tom Tom employee added, "We're not pretending that we're perfect. We have our ups and downs, but for the most part — at least relatively speaking in comparison to our earlier relationship — it's been blissful." See? They are absolutely "blissful," save for that 11 percent, OK?
Divorce rumors began circulating in June after their friend and co-star Jax Taylor addressed on Twitter questions about their current relationship status. Of course, he didn't help the situation by responding with tweets like, "Yeah [Schwartz] dipped out of the country he said f this and left. Apparently going on a poker tour was more important." Maloney tried to handle the situation by sending Taylor several sarcastic tweets, but her marriage status continue to make headlines.
Then, Schwartz, himself, took to Twitter addressing the split reports by tweeting, "Nooooo we are still going strong." Maloney replied to her Bubba's tweet by writing, "I have semi responded. Been mostly entertained by these stories. But FOR THE RECORD we are great and happy as hell!"
What more do these two need to do and say? They are still married, happy, in love, and, most importantly, blissful.
