How To Get Millie Bobby Brown's Hair & Makeup
For fans of Stranger Things, it should come as no surprise that Millie Bobbie Brown had amazing hair and makeup at the 2017 MTV Movie & TV Awards — after all, we've always known she's had great style, and her recent daily beauty routine video showed off some serious makeup know-how.
She kept things simple to go with her monochromatic mod outfit (did anyone else think long-sleeved white shift dress/white cowboy boots ensemble was very Princess Leia?), with her short hair worn in slicked back, and her makeup fresh and natural. Brown wore neutral, slightly shimmery eyeshadow, and had some well-groomed brows, as well as a natural matte pink lip. She also sported some seriously flawless skin — which is a feat at any age, but particularly hers (what we all wouldn't give for that complexion back in middle school). All in all, the simplicity of her look served her well — and it also happened to let her blue ACLU ribbon and pin take center stage.
So, how can you get Brown's latest makeup look? Well, luckily, her celebrity makeup artist Gianpaolo Ceciliato (who was working in conjunction with the Laura Mercier beauty brand for the evening) broke it down in detail.
The Complexion
Ceciliato started things off by prepping Brown's skin with Laura Mercier Infusion de Rose Nourishing Oil, then layering on some Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer. Finally, he concealed imperfections with the ever-popular NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer, setting it all with a combination of Laura Mercier's Translucent Loose Setting Powder, as well as her Smooth Finish Foundation Powder.
For her glowy, pink cheeks, Ceciliato also added Laura Mercier Second Skin Cheek Color in Barely Pink and Laura Mercier Face Illuminator in Devotion (which he also applied to her Cupid's Bow).
The Eyes
After lining her eyes with Laura Mercier Inner Eye Definer in Stormy Grey, Ceciliato blended the liner with the Black Clay and Metallic Pewter from the Laura Mercier Editorial Eye Palette Intense Clays palette. He also added Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Colour in Moonlight to her inner corners for some extra highlight.
As for brows, he used a combination of Laura Mercier Eye Brow Pencil in Soft Brunette and Laura Mercier Eye Brow Gel, and for her lashes, he added on some Laura Mercier Full Blown Volume Suprême Lash Building Mascara
The Lips
Last but not least? A natural touch of Laura Mercier Velour Lovers Lip Colour in Sensual for a matte pout.
All in all, it was the perfect look to win in, which she did — Brown was one of the big winners of the night, taking home the popcorn trophy for Best Actor in a Show.
