The day started with the major news that Steve Bannon is leaving President Trump's National Security Council (more on that shortly), and it didn't slow down from there. Some good news this Wednesday — Steve Bannon has been removed from Trump's National Security Council. Although Bannon is still the White House Chief Strategist, him losing his place on the council is a major deal, seeing as the fact that he had been appointed to it in the first place had stirred up significant criticism. Good riddance.
