How's everyone doing on this lovely day? It's nearly the weekend — just one more workday to go before you can sit back, relax, and enjoy this gorgeous weather all Saturday and Sunday long.
What a crazy, news-filled day it's been, though. Here's a look back on everything that got Bustle's editors talking today, Thursday May 18:
Roger Ailes + A Tarnished Legacy
It was reported early Thursday morning that former Fox Chairman Roger Ailes had died at the age of 77. The influential CEO stepped down from Fox News last summer, amid a major scandal in which over 20 women accused him of sexual harassment. Ailes' cause of death is currently unknown.
R.I.P.: Soundgarden singer Chris Cornell passed away on Wednesday evening from suicide, at the age of 52. The artist was a major presence in the '90s grunge rock scene, and he'll be greatly missed.
Donald Trump + Witch Hunts
Need a laugh today? Check out these 21 amazing memes about Trump's "witch hunt" tweet from last night, in which he said that the investigation into his alleged ties to Russia makes up "the single greatest witch hunt of a politician in American history." OK then, Donald.
Pro Tip: It can be hard these days to keep up with the news and not go crazy, but these tips will help you feel informed and sane.
Chelsea Manning + Her First Photo
After being released from prison yesterday many years early, Chelsea Manning has shared the first photo of herself. "Okay, so here I am everyone!!" Manning wrote in the caption, and it's great to see her being able to live her life and enjoy her post-prison freedom.
#UncleJoe: Joe Biden is getting his own ice cream flavor, because, what better way to honor the former VP?
The Bachelorette + Big News
Spoiler alert, Bachelor Nation fans: Rachel Lindsay is engaged, the upcoming Bachelorette has confirmed. Obviously, she didn't say to whom she's engaged, but that reveal is still pretty huge, considering her season hasn't even started.
Shopping Break: Strapless bras are often the worst, and if you have smaller breasts, finding the right fitting lingerie can be a struggle. These 12 strapless bras, though, are great for small boobs, and are actually comfortable to wear.
Today's WTF Moment: Turns out sparkling water might just make us hungrier. Ugh.
What to Watch: Staying in? Check out the season finales of Grey's Anatomy and Scandal. Going out? Head to the movies and see Ridley Scott's Alien: Covenant.
