Last week, Trump made a call to the family of Sgt. La David Johnson, a soldier who died in combat in Niger. This got major attention when both Rep. Frederica S. Wilson and Johnson's family criticized the sincerity of the call. Members of the White House verified what was said on the call, but Trump accused them of lying. Today, Myeshia Johnson, the widow of Sgt. La David Johnson, was interviewed on GMA. Johnson said that the phone call made her feel worse, and that Trump struggled to remember her husband's name. Shortly after, Trump tweeted that that's not what happened. Sigh.
