Nick Will Likely Watch Rachel's 'Bach' Season

Once he is all finished with The Bachelor and Dancing with the Stars, Nick Viall will be in need of some serious downtime. And there's no better way to chill out than by Nick watching Rachel's season of The Bachelorette. Come Mondays in May, I envision Nick kicking back with a glass of wine with either Raven or Vanessa by his side as he watches Rachel's quest for love. Sure, it might be awkward considering that Rachel was in Nick's final three, but I think Nick should watch Rachel on The Bachelorette — except just because I want him to doesn't mean that he actually will.

When you're as an established part of Bachelor Nation as Nick is, I feel like it's in your contract to keep up with future seasons of the show. Half the fun of watching these reality dating shows is to see what former and current contestants have to say on Twitter as they live tweet, so the best way to find out if Nick will watch The Bachelorette with Rachel is to see how he has handled past seasons of the show. If his social media is any indication, Nick seems to actually enjoy watching The Bachelor and its spinoffs and since he is no stranger to putting his thoughts out there on social media about the most recent seasons, I'd love to see him active on Twitter during Rachel's season of The Bachelorette.

As there are no tweets available on Nick's Twitter account before November 2015 — which was after his two times on The Bachelorette — I had to turn to his Instagram for evidence of Nick watching the show before then. His first Instagram post is from 2013 and though I see no references to the show before he was on it, he did use that social media platform to comment on his times on The Bachelorette.

Since being rejected on Andi's and Kaitlyn's seasons of The Bachelorette, he has become a more active viewer by tweeting about it. His commentary was pretty sparse on Instagram when it came to Andi, Farmer Chris, and Kaitlyn, but he stepped up his game for Ben's season of The Bachelor on Twitter. Back in the winter of 2016, Nick tweeted about Ben's Bachelor season and even called out the future winner, Lauren Bushnell.

After Ben, he kept up with JoJo on The Bachelorette and proclaimed his love for Wells. (Same, Nick.)

Then, he made sure to comment on Bachelor in Paradise — after all, he was on Season 3.

And, as the Bachelor, Nick made sure not to spoil anything, but still keep his social media followers engaged, with weekly tweets.

All of this recent Twitter activity is definitely good news for people who want to know what Nick is thinking during Rachel's time as the Bachelorette. And beyond the fact that he has watched the last four Bachelor Nation shows, I have faith that he'll watch Rachel's season — even if he hasn't officially said he will yet — based on how genuinely happy he seemed for her to be the Bachelorette.

The only way he might not watch is if Vanessa or Raven aren't interested in watching. Raven and Rachel are friends, so I have a feeling Raven and Nick would be down to support Rachel if he picks her. If he chooses Vanessa, I'm a little less confident that he'll make time to watch Rachel's season every week. And, if he ends up alone, he might need Rachel's journey to distract him from his own romantic losses.

No matter what the outcome is during The Bachelor season finale, I'll be going through Nick withdrawal come May and will need him in my life some way. So I'm going to hold out hope that he'll be offering his witty commentary on social media and other outlets when Rachel's season of The Bachelorette premieres on May 22.
