Amanda Chan

Amanda Chan is the Vice President of Content Strategy for Bustle Digital Group's lifestyle and parenting brands (Bustle, Elite Daily, The Zoe Report, NYLON, Romper, Scary Mommy, Fatherly, and The Dad). She previously led Bustle as Managing Editor, where she oversaw the site's five verticals of Fashion & Beauty, Lifestyle, News & Politics, Books, and Entertainment.

Before joining BDG, Amanda held leadership positions at other digital lifestyle, entertainment, health & wellness, and news publications, including roles as Digital Deputy Editor at Teen Vogue, Deputy Editor at Yahoo Health, and Managing Editor of Healthy Living at HuffPost. Her bylines have also appeared in Real Simple, MSNBC, LiveScience, The Arizona Republic, The Charlotte Observer, and more. She earned her master’s degree from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and bachelor’s degree from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University, where she was Editor-in-Chief of ASU's independent daily student newspaper, The State Press.

When Amanda isn’t playing volleyball or marathoning shows on Hulu or Netflix, she's on the hunt for new restaurants and wishing she had a dog.
