'PLL' Cocktails You Need For The 6B Premiere

For some of us, today is a big day. It's been almost six months since the ultra-dramatic, decidedly controversial Season 6A finale of Pretty Little Liars. Tonight at 8 p.m., the Liars are jumping five years into the future to find their destinies and, you know, finally play characters their age. And if your approach to questionably age-appropriate television is anything like ours, you know that no proper premiere viewing would be complete without the perfect themed cocktail. The Liars are finally of drinking age, so instead of pouring our typical glass(es) of wine, we decided to celebrate by giving each girl a signature drink — simple enough that you probably won't need to stop at the store after work.

Pretty Little Liars is like a (somewhat) more grown-up version of American Girl dolls in that every fan identifies with one girl in particular. Whether it's her flawless style, unwavering confidence, badass spy skills, or even her perfect hair (cough, Emily), every character has a definite hook. So whether you're an Emily, Aria, Hanna, Spencer, or Ali (or maybe it varies day-to-day), we have you covered for channeling your fave Liar, via tasty drinks, from the edge of your seat. Are those blasphemous Spencer/Caleb rumors true? Will we get any closer to finding out who "B" is? Did the moms ever get out of the basement? We're ready for some answers.

  • West Coast beer of your choice
  • Lime wedge

From the 6B previews, we know that Emily winds up bartending in Southern California (and maybe getting back together with Paige?!). She's too busy mixing drinks for patrons to bother getting complicated with her own cocktail, so she's going for an ice-cold Corona with lime. I told you this was going to be easy.

  • 1 ounce St. Germain
  • 1.5 ounces gin
  • 3 ounces tonic water
  • Fresh cucumber slices
  • Fresh lime juice
  • Ice

This season, Aria is all grown up and living out some literary dreams in Boston. She's focused, collected, and totally over Fitz (LOL, never), just like this refreshing and sophisticated gin cooler, which is actually super simple to mix up on your own.

  • 1 glass champagne (or prosecco)
  • Splash pure pomegranate juice

Hanna leaves Rosewood for Manhattan, where she works in fashion (duh) and does some galavanting around the world (WITHOUT CALEB). This insanely simple combo of champagne and pomegranate is perfect for the girl on the go who still appreciates the finer (and pinker) things in life.

  • 1 cup coffee
  • 1 shot Kahlua

In classic overachiever fashion, Spencer moves to Washington, D.C., to dominate the political scene. We're willing to bet that her caffeine obsession has only intensified — but now she's old enough to legally spike it once in a while. Only drink this one if you're functioning at true Hastings levels and don't have to go to bed right after the show airs.

  • 2-3 ounces apple cider
  • 1 ounce dark rum or bourbon
  • Squeeze of fresh lemon juice
  • Apple wedge
  • Ice

In the time jump, we see that Ali has become a high school teacher in Rosewood where she can be close to newfound sister Cece Drake. This red apple drink is totally teacher-approved, and the sweet and sour flavors reflect the truth of Ali's core (another apple joke!).
