Selena Gomez May Be The Biggest Céline Dion Fan

by Jamie Primeau

Although she's earned the title of being a superstar herself, Selena Gomez isn't immune to fangirling over other talented women. On Saturday night, Gomez saw Céline Dion's show in Las Vegas and reacted as anyone else would with their group of girlfriends. From buying matching t-shirts to singing along with tear-filled eyes, she really did the whole concert thing right. Plus, according to E! News, she got to meet the "My Heart Will Go On" singer backstage after the show. So for as much as she was like every other concert goer, being a celebrity certainly had its perks.

Not only did Gomez post Snapchats prior to Dion's show at the Colosseum at Caesar's Palace, but also throughout the performance. She shared one photo of the stage and dubbed her a "queen." It's cool that the 23-year-old isn't afraid to embrace her inner super fan. I'm pretty sure that Selenators show up to her concerts and do the exact same things with their own friends, so it's funny to see her reverse the roles.

It's clear that Gomez had a great time with her friends and really made the most of the show. The only thing that would have made the moment even better was if she was joined by her fellow famous BFF, Taylor Swift. I could only imagine how ecstatic Tay would've been.

Here's the Wizards of Waverly Place alum sporting her proper concert attire.

Then here she is, singing along with all of her heart during the show.

And finally, here are the two superstars posing together.

According to E!, this is Dion's last performance until May. She's taking a hiatus, which makes sense, given all that's gone on in her personal life as of late. She also shared a heartfelt photo afterwards, thanking her fans and the show for giving her the strength to get on stage after losing her beloved husband, René Angélil. Such a sweet sentiment! And it's great that Gomez got to see what will be Dion's last performance for awhile.

There's no denying that it's great (and kind of hilarious) to see that celebs can be just like everybody else when it comes to getting starstruck around their favorite singers. I'm secretly rooting for Dion to now attend a Gomez concert — and wear a shirt with her face. That'd be the best full-circle moment.
