Going, going, gone! Kat Von D Beauty fans are about to be majorly bummed, as the brand will no longer manufacture a favorite palette. Brace yourself, beauties, because the Kat Von D Monarch Eyeshadow Palette is being discontinued! Boo! Hiss! The palette, which features a butterfly on the case and holds lots of orange, gold, bronze, and brown eyeshadow shades that allow for the creation of a layered, sunset smoky eye, is pretty beloved. Judging from the sad emoji-filled reactions to the Instagram post revealing Monarch's fate, there are some pretty broken makeup hearts among Kat Von D-evotees. Where can you get the Kat Von D Monarch palette, before it's gone for good?
Well, as the brand's official Insta post notes, it will no longer be available once it is sold out via the Kat Von D Beauty site. So the official KVD site would be the place to shop. Interestingly enough, the palette is currently listed as "OUT OF STOCK," which could mean one of two things.
Either the brand has yet to make the remaining Monarch inventory available for sale or fans instantly responded to the IG post by heading over to the site to scoop up the remaining palettes, leading to sell out. Bustle reached out to Kat Von D Beauty reps for further details.

OMG, there are just so many beautiful shades, which were inspired by the wings of a Monarch butterfly. Don't be too, too bummed, though. Kat Von D Beauty continues to add and update products and you have a lot to look forward to, like the KVD x Too Faced collabo. There's also the brand's new set of makeup brushes.
Oh, and the Shade & Light Eye Contour Quads are out now and they allow the user to achieve smoky eye perfection on a more streamlined level. So I would suggest snatching up one of those to help soothe the sting over the fact that Monarch has reached the end of the line.
