It Turns Out Khloé Did Influence Kim's Tweets

Remember when Kim Kardashian posted a nude selfie last month? Actually, I'm sure no one can forget, since the Internet practically exploded in response. While plenty of celebs voiced their support, she received her fair share of critics. Instead of standing by quietly, Kim responded to her haters directly, which then caused people to wonder if Kanye West or her sister Khloé Kardashian helped write the messages. At the time, Kim defended herself and said it was all her, but Khloé now admits she played a role in those comebacks, according to People. On an episode of Kocktails With Khloé, she says, "She was doing it. I was on the phone with her and I probably wasn't the best influence."

On the one hand, at least Khloé clears up the rumors and confirms that Kanye West did not write those responses to Bette Midler, Chloë Grace Moretz, and Piers Morgan. Kim deserves credit where credit is due. Then again, finding out that Khloé was on the phone with her is definitely interesting. But what this probably means is that KoKo gave her the push she needed to actually respond; this doesn't mean she wrote the messages for her or suggested what she should say.

When you think about, it's not too shocking that she was talking to Khloé throughout the process, because Kim's younger sister is known for not staying silent on issues she cares about. Whether the time when she responded to Amber Rose's comments about Kylie Jenner or even her heartbreaking post about letting people go, Khloé really makes the most of social media by voicing her thoughts and not holding back.

While Kim's tweets were amusing, they weren't even the best part of her response to her critics. What about how she penned an empowering essay standing up to slut-shaming? That's definitely worth a read. She also sent flower arrangements to her supporters, including Ariel Winter and Emily Ratajkowski — who she later posed topless with for her naked selfie 2.0. If anything, those reactions are the ones that should get attention — the positive examples of joining forces with other women, not her snarky Twitter comebacks.

Still, at the end of the day, it's good to know Khloé was involved in some capacity. If only because it shows these sisters have one another's backs and can give the push they need to stand up for themselves. That's what family is all about.
