What Needs To Happen On 'RHOBH' Season 7

by Marenah Dobin

I have to keep it real, I wasn't a big fan of the last season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. I'm not a hater by any means. In fact, I'm one of the series' most obsessive fans. It was just that the same story line repeated over and over again, and I got over it really quickly. That's why I have so many high hopes for what is going to happen on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 7. Aside from feeling like anything would be better than the Munchausen-centered plot of last season, I just have a gut feeling that these ladies are going to step it up. Or at least that's what I hope.

The Beverly Hills ladies are some of my favorites, but I was just so tired of watching the same exact argument in every single episode last season. Now, I'm looking ahead and I have some great ideas about what I want to happen during Season 7. Obviously, I don't know these women and my opinions have no effect on what actually goes down in their social circle, but if I did all of the loyal fans would definitely be pleased and entertained with my wishes.

1. Camille Grammer's Return

I live for Camille's cameo appearances, but I am really hoping that the OG cast member will be back as a full-time cast member next season. Camille has been filming with the ladies this season, as she confirmed to Entertainment Tonight, but her official status is unclear. Obviously, I take whatever Camille that I can get, but I would prefer it if she was around all the time.

2. Kim Richards As A Full-Time Cast Member

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills just wasn't the same without my girl Kim. We needed her lightheartedness and quirky personality amidst all the heavy drama last season. Plus, Kyle's main story line was talking about Kim's updates, so it only makes sense for Kim to actually be on the show instead of the cast just constantly talking about her. Kim needs to return to RHOBH to restore the show to its former glory.

3. Zero Mention Of Munchausen Syndrome

Every single episode last season centered around a theory that Yolanda Foster had Munchausen Syndrome instead of Lyme disease. The accusations were absurd — Yolanda, of course, denied this and stands by the fact that she has Lyme disease — and just way too repetitive. If I never hear the word "Munchausen" again it would be too soon.

4. More Erika Jayne

My shining light in Season 6 was my girl Erika Jayne. Erika is exactly what this show needs. I am fascinated by her extreme wealth and her down to earth demeanor. Plus, she has the most entertaining one-liners. Erika is a gem and a half and I hope that we get to see a lot more of her.

5. Eileen Davidson Being Fun

I really think that Eileen stepped up her game last season. When I watched Season 5, I felt like I learned zero about her and she had no real story line. Thankfully, Season 6 was her time to shine. Eileen loosened up, stood up for herself, and ended up being so fun to watch. I hope that's the Eileen we get to see in Season 7.

6. Kim & Kyle Richards Reconciling... For Good

As juicy as Richards sister fights are, it really breaks my heart when they aren't on good terms. Kyle and Kim are way stronger when they are on the same page, and I hope that these two can finally get along.

7. Zero Mention Of Brandi Glanville When She's Not Present

In my opinion, last season was the season of backstabbing. The entire show revolved around discussing people who weren't present and this included Yolanda, Kim, and Brandi. Even though Brandi was not a cast member, the ladies talked about her so much that it actually became a story line. If Brandi isn't a cast member, then the rest of them need to stop talking about her.

8. Lisa Rinna Freak-outs

Don't get me wrong, I never want anyone to be angry or stressed out, but it does happen and no one freaks out like Lisa Rinna. Lisa is so theatrical when she gets riled up. From the yelling, to the hand gestures, to the catchphrases, Lisa just has all of the elements to entertain when she's angry. I live for her freak-outs and it seems like I'm not the only one since pretty much every time she is mad gifs and memes hit the internet instantaneously. Everyone wants to relive those heated moments.

9. Crazy Trips

The Beverly Hills women go on the most luxurious trips, with the most intense drama. If I were them, I would need a vacation to relax from my vacation. These trips seem way too exhausting to take part in, but as a viewer I cannot wait for their next adventure. It is guaranteed drama. Every. Single. Time.

10. New Women That Are Authentically Involved With The Cast

The more random the new cast member, the least likely it is that they will work with the show and stick around. The ladies who are genuinely friends with existing cast members (Lisa Rinna, Erika Jayne) are the ones who make the most sense to have on the show. The women who had no previous relationships with the ladies (Joyce Giraud, Carlton Gebbia, Kathryn Edwards) tend to seem very out of place.

11. More Portia Umansky Moments

Kyle's youngest daughter, Portia, is a budding star. She has the best commentary for pretty much every situation. RHOBH would be a million times cuter and more hilarious if Portia got more screen time.

After a Season 6 that was tough to watch, I have the highest expectations for Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 7. I hope that the ladies pull through and that everyone takes my suggestions seriously. Let's do this!
