Jennifer Lawrence Changed Her Hair Color & Proved That A Subtle Shade Difference Is Everything — PHOTOS
In April 2016, Jennifer Lawrence chopped her locks, turned them an icy blonde hue, and became just about everybody’s hair crush. While J. Law’s platinum colored ‘do was summer hair goals, Jennifer Lawrence’s new hair color, is just as swoon worthy —if not more so.
On Oct. 28, Lawrence debuted a dirty blonde hairstyle at the BAFTA Britannia Awards in Los Angeles, the Daily Mail reports. The ever-stylish and incredibly talented actress, sported a gorgeous pale pink gown by none other than Elie Saab, and wore her newly natural hair color in an effortlessly chic bun.
While it’s quite common for Lawrence to switch up her hair style (she has sported many shades of blonde and brown in the last few years) her latest hair transformation is giving us major flashbacks to her early days in Hollywood a.k.a. those bombshell locks she sported at her first-ever Oscars back in 2010.
While Lawrence’s newest hair color may not be her most daring, her darker shade of blonde accompanied by face-framing highlights, is a much more natural look than her previous platinum 'do. And not to mention, involves much less upkeep.
If you are a fan of J. Law (and why wouldn't you be?) or are just looking for a new fall 'do, scroll down for a closer look Lawrence's new hairstyle.
Lawrence has sported a messy bun on the red carpet a time or two, but her new dirty blonde shade with strategically placed platinum pieces takes this tousled hairstyle to the next level. She further accentuated her look with a subtly bronzed lid, minimal face makeup, and naturally nude pout.
While Lawrence's icy blonde hair style will forever be remembered, her new dirty blonde 'do is a must have look for fall. Here, Lawrence shows us how to do the dirty blonde hair color right. Instead of ditching her platinum shade altogether, Lawrence added dimension to her newly natural tresses with a handful of face-framing platinum highlights.
Lawrence's new 'do looked all the more beautiful when paired with her super sultry cut-out Elie Saab dress. The pleated pink number perfectly compliments her dirty blonde hair style, making for a best-dressed red carpet moment.
Once again, Lawrence nails red carpet dressing. From her newly darker blonde locks to her bronzed lids, taupe nails, and that gorgeous pink dress, J. Law's latest look is red carpet dressing at it's finest.
Just one question remains: Are her new locks linked to a new movie role? Here's to hoping that this new hair color is for a new job, as we would love to see the 26-year-old on the big screen once again.
