On the Wednesday after Independence Day, Rob Kardashian exposed Blac Chyna on Instagram — literally — with a series of disturbing posts accusing her of everything from reportedly cheating on him with multiple men to allegedly doing drugs. (Bustle reached out to their reps for comments on the allegations, but have yet to receive a response.) But while the internet watched the stream of claims with equal parts horror and fascination, the Kardashians didn't respond to Rob's Instagram posts. At least not immediately.

UPDATE: Blac Chyna's lawyer told ABC News in a statement "We are considering all legal options and recourses at this time." Bustle has reached out to Kardashian for comment, but did not receive a response at the time of publication.

UPDATE #2: Kardashian's lawyer told TMZ in a statement that Kardashian's actions were a "spontaneous reaction that he regrets" and that they will not be contesting the restraining order. "Rob's only concern is for the well-being of baby Dream," the statement finished.

EARLIER: Then again, that's not really a surprise. The Kardashians don't tend to respond within a few minutes or even a few hours to the near-constant drama that surrounds Rob and Blac Chyna's relationship. For example, when rumors began to fly that Blac Chyna had taken the couple's daughter, Dream, and moved out of their house, both Chyna and Rob posted about and to each other on social media. The pair eventually reconciled. However, it was not until a later episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians that we got to see the rest of the family react to the infamous fight.

"Apparently Rob and Chyna are back together and that makes me sad for Rob," Khloe Kardashian said during the 2017 episode. "I really thought there was no way in hell that he would forgive her, or that she would want him back."

However, in addition to Rob’s posts, Chyna posted to Snapchat at the same time, alleging that Rob “beat” her and that she couldn’t speak up about it because of his Kardashian name. For that reason, it may only a matter of time before one of Rob’s family members speaks about the issue — whether in his defense or not.

By now, fans know the Kardashian clan runs a tight ship and holds their fire until necessary for family members beyond Rob. For example, when Kendall Jenner was in the middle of the Pepsi ad controversy in April, her famous sisters didn’t respond until Kim addressed it and revealed Kendall’s reaction on Watch What Happens Live a month later.

Right now, though, not only are Rob’s famous siblings refraining from commenting on social media, but his mom Kris Jenner posted a photo of Kendall and Cara Delevingne captioned, “These two! Legs for days….” while Rob was posting about Chyna. If fans are holding their breath for a Kardashian reaction to all of this, they may want to stop waiting.
