With only nine episodes left of Pretty Little Liars, the end of an era is truly upon us. There are still so many mysteries left to solve, but the biggest of all has to be the long-awaited reveal of A.D., otherwise known as Uber A. While several characters have taken on the A persona during the show's seven seasons, the final episodes promise to reveal who's been terrorizing the gang since the beginning of Pretty Little Liars. The internet is brimming with possible suspects, including lead characters like Spencer and Aria, but the identity of A.D. is being kept firmly under wraps. So how will fans react to the Uber A reveal?

On the Freeform Upfronts red carpet in New York City on Wednesday, Bustle spoke to members of the cast and crew of Pretty Little Liars. Bustle asked Sasha Pieterse, who plays Alison DiLaurentis, how fans would feel about who Uber A was. Pieterse said, "I think they’re gonna freak out, but I know I was really satisfied." Clearly, the big reveal is going to cause some major speculation over the coming weeks, but if Pieterse's comments are anything to go by, the ultimate reveal of A.D. will not disappoint.

Without revealing too many telling details, Pieterse discussed her feelings about Uber A at length, and seemed certain that fans would be as happy with the end of the show as she was. "I was really excited. We were all really excited about it. I think this person who plays this character, that I can’t reveal the gender of, is amazing, and I think it turned out beautifully," the actor told Bustle of the big A.D. reveal. "But I really am happy. There’s nothing that I’m disappointed with, and I really hope the fans feel the same way."

While she was careful not to reveal the gender of the show's biggest antagonist or narrow down the list of suspects, Pieterse's excitement about the revelation speaks volumes.

Bustle also spoke to showrunner I. Marlene King on the Freeform Upfronts red carpet and asked her how the actors reacted to A.D.'s big reveal. King said, "Everybody really liked the story. Everybody really liked it." While her words are far from conclusive, it certainly sounds as though the cast and crew of the show are happy with the way Pretty Little Liars ends, which is a very good sign.

With the series finale fast approaching, fans will find out the final mysteries of PLL soon enough. It's an exciting and extremely tense time for viewers everywhere.
