Bustle's Editors On Harry Potter + Sean Spicer

by Rachel Simon

Hello, hello! Happy hump day, everyone — although to me, it feels like it's at least Thursday, if not Friday. *Sigh* Some weeks just go way slower than others, and the fact that the weather has made it feel like a tease of summer all week long, at least in New York, does not help speed things along.

While we all anxiously await the season of tank tops and rosé to approach, take a look back at all the news and events that had Bustle's editors talking today, Apr. 12.

Harry Potter + Major Casting News

Big news, Potterheads: Jude Law has been cast as Dumbledore in the upcoming Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them sequel. The actor will be playing a much younger version of the legendary wizard than what fans saw in the original Potter movies, so start preparing now to feel uncomfortably attracted to the character.

OMG: A Friends musical is coming to New York later this year. So... have you booked your tickets yet?

Surgery + A Feminist Challenge

How cool is this? After The New Yorker featured a cover with four female surgeons peering down at the viewer, women from all over the world have taken the #ILookLikeASurgeon challenge and posted their own recreations of the cover. Surgery may be seen as a male-dominated field, but these women are intent on changing that.

Facepalm: Trump can't remember what country he bombed, but he was earing chocolate cake at the time (spoiler alert: it was Syria). Reassuring.

Holographic Hair + Your New Obsession

This new beauty trend is so, so cool. Holographic hair, in which the colors seem to change depending on what angle you look at a person's head from, is picking up steam, and for good reason. You're going to want to book an appointment to get this look done ASAP.

Baby News: One of reality TV's most memorable pairs, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, are expecting a baby. Congrats!

Sean Spicer + Embarrassing Moments

Ah, Sean Spicer. As his recent Holocaust comments proved all too well, the White House press secretary is the king of putting his foot in his mouth. So why not take a walk down memory lane and revisit 11 of Spicer's most embarrassing moments yet? You're very, very welcome.

RIP: Comedian Charlie Murphy has died at 57, after a battle with leukemia. Murphy was the brother of Eddie, and was known for his work on Chappelle's Show. He'll be greatly missed.

Today's WTF Moment: Not taking your shoes off when you get home can have some seriously gross consequences, it turns out. PSA!

What to Watch: It's a big episode of Empire, as it's all about Hakeem's 21st birthday party — which you know will be epic. Tune in to Fox at 9 to watch.
