Wendy Williams Dissed Kylie Jenner For The Way Her Baby Will Look & Took Things Way Too Far

As part of the Hot Topics segment on The Wendy Williams Show, host Wendy Williams dissed Kylie Jenner and her future baby when she implied that the child would look like the "old" Jenner. Her comments were met with disapproval by some fans of the show, as well as fans of Jenner, who have expressed their dissatisfaction with the host on Twitter.

During the episode of her show that aired on Wednesday, Jan. 10, Williams first spoke about Jenner's sister Khloé Kardashian, who has confirmed recently that she is expecting a child with Tristan Thompson. "But Kylie remains silent," Williams continued. "Well, why do you think? I guessed right away — because she's not with Travis Scott anymore!" Williams then implied that Scott, who Jenner is reportedly expecting a baby with, according to TMZ, and Jenner were no longer together because Scott is a "rockstar" and wouldn't want to be "part of" the baby's life. (Neither Scott nor Jenner have said anything about a breakup and it has not been widely reported that they have broken up.) Williams then said she didn't plan to watch the two-episode Keeping Up with the Kardashians special that airs this Sunday and Monday, Jan. 14 and 15, before then insulting Jenner and her reported unborn baby.

"Let me tell you something," Williams said addressing Jenner during the segment. "You can do whatever you want to do to yourself but the baby is still going to look like the old you."

Although Williams attempted to lighten the comment by adding "just saying," people on Twitter weren't here for it. "I have always thought Kylie was the prettiest Kardashian-Jenner even before any cosmetic work," one person tweeted. Others asked the talk show host to leave Jenner alone.

"I'm the last person to defend Kylie," another user on Twitter said, "but really Wendy....really?"

Followers of Williams on Twitter also replied directly to the host with messages expressing their disappointment about her dig at Jenner.

It was first reported that Jenner was expecting a child back in September, 2017, but neither Jenner nor Scott have commented on her rumored pregnancy. Jenner’s family members have also consistently refused to address Jenner’s pregnancy in interviews, though they have seemed to drop hints on social media and on their show. In addition to Khloé, Kim Kardashian is also expecting a baby via surrogacy with her husband Kanye West. Although both Kim and Khloé have confirmed news of their pregnancies, Jenner has remained quiet. Some expect that she'll address the topic during the upcoming two-part KUWTK special, but nothing has been confirmed.

"The card says it all," Williams said while showing the Kardashian's recent Christmas card, of which Jenner was noticeably absent. Williams also questioned whether or not Jenner was really pregnant. "Are we being bamboozled?" she asked.

"I don't think Travis cares to be involved," Williams continued. "In my mind, she took the test and was probably like, 'Oh, my God. What am I going to do now? Travis!'" She also said that Scott was doing "his rockstar thing," and implied he wasn't interested in being a parent. Williams continued, "He's probably like 'well, you're pregnant, figure it out and I’ll pay child support from a far.'"

Williams continued to discuss Jenner and went on to insult her, seemingly for allegedly having cosmetic work:

"She's only 20. Remember when you were 20? You didn't want anything to do with a baby. Her 20 is more like 35. Because she's grown up on TV in front of us. Plus, she’s got the midlife crisis makeover already."

Williams also predicted that everyone would judge Jenner’s parenting skills if she does have a baby, but ended the segment congratulating Khloé on her pregnancy.
