Chrissy Teigen Tweets About Not Being Ashamed Of Food & It's A Perfect Reminder To Eat What You Want
Scroll through Instagram and you'll find plenty of pictures of green juice, bowls of kale, and other #cleaneating meals. Props to the people who put in such effort to not only lead a healthy lifestyle, but document it for the world to see. I genuinely respect those individuals and I'm not trying to belittle their hard work, but let's face it, some of us just can't give up our love affair with ice cream. And you know what? That's perfectly OK. There's no reason you should feel guilty about the food you put into your body and that's exactly the message Chrissy Teigen conveyed in her latest tweet. As usual, she speaks the truth and makes me want to use a million praise-hands emojis.
Here's what happened: A fan tweeted at Teigen, begging for her secret to looking good and eating good. The person wrote, "Chrissy tell me please how don't u get fat while being a chef your insta account is full of food pictures." The Sports Illustrated supermodel isn't one who shies away from interacting with her fans on social media — including the trolliest of all the Internet trolls — and this question seemed to come from a genuine place. This was Teigen's awesome response:
Enjoying your food shouldn't be synonymous with being unhealthy. If you're eating what you want, you shouldn't feel bad or ashamed about it. We should all feel free to cook and eat as we please, and that's an amazing message for Teigen to share. Then again, not all that surprising, since she's always really open about body-positivity. Whether sharing photos of her stretch marks or posting make-up free selfies, she's all about embracing her true self.
To celebrate such an important message, here are a few highlights from Chrissy Teigen's best food Instagrams. Because food rocks, and so does Chrissy!
As someone who considers scrambled eggs fancy, these are on a whole other level.

This lunch looks way better than a soggy PB&J.
Is Quiche Friday a real holiday? If so, I'll gladly celebrate every week.

All of me wants all of that tray of mac & cheese.
So the next time someone tries to use that cliché phrase "Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels," the photos above are all the evidence you need to wholeheartedly disagree... and to grab another slice of pizza.
