For fans of Netflix’s Bridgerton, the Duke of Hastings and Anthony Bridgerton are two of the show’s standout characters (and both happen to be impossibly handsome). As viewers well know, the Duke of Hastings left the series following his Season 1 debut, leaving Viscount Anthony to take the reigns of season two. Naturally, reports of Bridgerton’s Regé-Jean Page and Jonathan Bailey’s recent reunion have left fans reeling — especially after the rumours of Page’s possible Bridgerton return. But, what is the story behind the pair’s off-screen catch-up?

As per Town & Country, Page (aka the Duke of Hastings) and Bailey (aka Viscount Anthony) crossed paths while attending the Armani Men's Spring 2023 menswear show together in Milan, Italy. Posing for photos together, the former co-stars appeared to be in good spirits, and Page’s presence at the Armani fashion show follows the announcement that he is to be the new face of the brand’s popular men's fragrance, Armani Code.

Meanwhile, Bailey himself is no stranger to the fashion show circuit, having previously attended the Brunello Cucinelli Summer Dinner and a Santoni show.

This isn’t the first Bridgerton reunion to have made headlines in recent months, as stars of the hit period drama, including Nicola Coughlan, Simone Ashley, Phoebe Dynevor, and Page, all served lavish looks at the 2022 Met Gala.

As mentioned, Bailey and Page’s recent run-in will likely fuel rumours that the latter is set to reprise his beloved role as the Duke of Hastings in Bridgerton Season 3.

“Regé-Jean was always very open about his intention to quit the show after the first season and to move on to other projects,” an unnamed source claimed, speaking to The Sun. “But recently, there has been a dialogue between him and the show’s bosses. Nothing has been formally agreed yet, but watch this space.”
