These Kardashian Christmas Card Details Still Have Fans Speculating

Getty Images/Bustle

It's been two days since Kim Kardashian posted the final photo of her family's 2017 holiday card on Dec. 25, but fans are still speculating about the Kardashian Christmas Card — even after its release. Some people can't help but continue to theorize over certain details and wonder, for example, why Kylie Jenner wasn't featured. Even though the card is over and done with, Kardashian-Jenner fans aren't simply going to let go of what hasn't been answered just yet.

The last image shared on Christmas Day featured Kim and her two kids, Kourtney Kardashian and her three kids, Khloé Kardashian holding Rob Kardashian's daughter, Dream Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Kris Jenner, and Mary Jo Houghton, aka MJ, Kris' mom. Again, Kylie remained nowhere to be seen — just like in all of the other 24 images released. As you can imagine, most people were disappointed about her absence. It's details like this that have fans continuing to discuss what's really going on with the family — and the card, itself.

The madness behind the card all started, obviously, on Dec. 1, when Kim released the first image and captioned it, "25 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS BY @EliLinnetz". Then, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star unveiled a photo every day, including on Christmas.

Many assumed this was a countdown to the unmasking of the actual family holiday card, but as Kim confirmed on Dec. 22, all of the pictures were the card, they were not teasers leading up to the final release of an official card. This also nixed the idea that each photo would connect together, like a puzzle, and form the card. Even with some questions being answered, Twitter users keep talking about one of the most talked-about Christmas cards yet from the family.

Kylie Missing From The Card

Kylie not appearing in the card has to be for a reason. As you can see above, people have come up with several theories, including that she is waiting to appear in the 2018 family card — with her baby in tow. Or, you know, she's just using her reported pregnancy (she has yet to confirm or deny it) to her advantage by not revealing it so she gets even more attention.

Oh, there's also some who think she is now a "Scott" and married her boyfriend, Travis Scott. This would mean Kylie technically isn't a "Kardashian-Jenner", so she wouldn't be featured in the card. Regarding the latter reason, it's probably safe to say her family wouldn't exclude her just because she had a different name. Hello, MJ and Kanye West's surnames are different and they're still present.

The Tree Isn't Just Decoration

This is obviously a joke (I think...), but, hey, it's a detail that isn't going unnoticed.

Kendall Wasn't Really There

There are two images that have people convinced that Kendall wasn't really part of the photoshoot and was just plopped into them with help from photoshop.

Everyone Is Looking At Someone

This photo was released on Christmas Eve, but there's an important detail in it. Some of the family members are looking off in one direction, which could be meaningful. Maybe they're all looking at Kylie and her supposed baby? They could still be staring at her, even if she wasn't featured in the actual card.

Their Outfits

Not much has changed since it all started.

The theories keep pouring in, because when it comes to the Kardashian-Jenner family, well, fans just can't help themselves. People truly are having a hard time letting go of the 2017 Kardashian Christmas card — and they probably won't move on until at least Kylie officially comments on all those pregnancy rumors.
