Break out your lace choker and crank up your '90s playlist, because the Spice Girls are having the best week ever. Mel C. — aka Melanie Chisholm/Sporty Spice — joined the cast of School of Rock U.K. for a surprise performance of "Wannabe" on Thursday night, according to Refinery29. Mel C. took the stage alongside the cast's youngest stars and basically introduced the world to the next generation of Spice Girls. It was magical, you guys.

Sporty Spice's one-night only stint on the London theater stage comes just days after Baby Spice (Emma Bunton) posed as an airline assistant in Heathrow for Red Nose Day. It also happened to coincide with the launch of Posh Spice's Target collaboration. I don't know what is going on, but if Ginger Spice suddenly drops a new solo album, I am going to freak out. The Spice Girls are celebrating the 20 year anniversary of "Wannabe" hitting the Billboard Top 100 this year, so the time for the groundbreaking girl band to make a comeback is now.

In the meantime, I am perfectly content watching Mel C. and a group of talented young women prove "Wannabe" is still rocking two decades later. The performance is hands down the most girl power thing you are going to see today. Those young stars can sing, and they match Sporty Spice beat for beat. Watch the amazingness go down below.

"Wannabe" is a kick-butt anthem of friendship that will never go out of style. Also, if those kids decide to form a girl band after they finish their School of Rock run, I will buy all of the tickets. Their star power shines just as bright as Mel C.'s, and the Spice Girls alum looks so proud to be singing alongside them.

As you can see, Mel C. is still the epitome of cool. If you find yourself rewatching her live School of Rock performance on and remembering all the good times in the '90s, don't forget she's still going strong. Sporty Spice is still making music, and her solo career has turned out some gems worthy of their very own playlist. Her most recent single, "Hold On," is a beautiful, achy ballad you need in your life.

Here's hoping the Spice Girls have more surprises in store for their loyal fans — like maybe a reunion? If that's too much to ask, just keep the pranks and surprise performances coming, ladies, because they are making life so much more exciting for girl power believers everywhere.
