Bustle's Editors On #Jophie + "Me Too"
Happy Monday, everyone! Hopefully you had a relaxing weekend and are ready to take the next few days by storm. October is always a speedy month, and with Halloween just around the corner, there's a lot coming up to look forward to that'll help make the days go by even faster.
And while this particular Monday wasn't as news-filled as most, there's still a lot to catch up on. Here's a recap of everything that had Bustle's editors talking today, Monday, Oct. 16:
Sophie Turner + Joe Jonas
If you somehow missed the news over the weekend, Game of Thrones' Sansa Stark, aka Sophie Turner, is engaged to Joe Jonas. Naturally, Twitter is freaking out over the pair's announcement, as are the stars' loved ones — I mean, how cute is Maisie Williams' congrats to her on-screen sis? This celeb couple is seriously the sweetest, so here's wishing them the best of luck going forward.
Uh Oh: Ed Sheeran broke his arm in a bike accident, but don't worry, he's OK — although his upcoming tour dates are in jeopardy.
Twitter + "Me Too"
As the allegations against Harvey Weinstein continue to pile up, women have been using Twitter as a place to share their experiences with sexual assault and harassment. With two words, "me too," sometimes accompanied by stories, these women (and men) are bringing much-needed attention to just how prevalent sexual assault and harassment truly are. If the stories you read enrage you, they should — and here's how to fight back against the abuse women face all too often in their everyday lives.
Quote Of The Day: "I hope I live long enough to see the day when my female friends are writing #MeToo on social media to mean, 'I finally feel safe in the world.'" — comedian Lane Moore, on Twitter.
Harry Potter + Halloween
Halloween is only two weeks away (I know, I know), so if you don't yet know what you're going to be or how you're going to celebrate, it's time to get going! But even if you're planning on saving the big details until the last minute, you can relax knowing you have one accessory taken care of — these adorable, DIY Harry Potter pumpkins. Your house is about to look a lot more magical this Halloween thanks to these guys, and they're pretty easy to do, so you don't need to be a craft wizard (see what I did there?) to get them set.

Chinning + What To Know
If you've been scrolling through Instagram over the last few weeks and have seen a surprising number of photos of people taking selfies sporting forced double chins, it's not a coincidence — it's actually part of #Chinning, a new selfie trend. Yet while the photos might be meant to poke fun at mainstream beauty standards, some would argue that the selfies unintentionally shame people who naturally have double chins. So, think twice before you decide to take on the trend yourself, OK?
Fun Fact: Cry a lot? Don't be ashamed — turns out that being an easy crier might actually be good for you, science says.
Today's WTF Moment: That old Lisa Frank trapper keeper you have buried in a closer somewhere might actually be worth $150 today. Thanks, '90s.
What to Watch: Real Housewives fans, you're in luck — there's a new episode of Orange County at 9, followed by Dallas at 10, both on Bravo. Happy watching!
