Bustle's Editors On The Emmys + St. Louis
Happy Monday, everyone! If you stayed up late watching the Emmys (more on last night's show below), today probably felt like a drag — but fear not, because it's almost over and hey, can you really regret staying up past your normal bedtime to watch Nicole Kidman and Donald Glover take home awards? I think not.
For more on the Emmys and lots else, read on:
The Emmys + What You Missed
Sunday night was the 69th annual Emmy Awards, and for the first time in seemingly forever, everything went, well, great. Not only were all the Emmys looks truly gorgeous, but favorites like Donald Glover and Riz Ahmed took home trophies, with shows like The Handmaid's Tale and Big Little Lies earning their fair share of honors, too. Also, Sean Spicer showed up (yeah...). Finally, if you haven't heard host Stephen Colbert's biting opening monologue yet, what are you waiting for?
Quote Of The Day: "They cut me off before I got to thank my wife, man" — This is Us star Sterling K. Brown, finishing his Emmys speech backstage after getting unfairly cut off during the show.
St. Louis + What's Going On
If you've been hearing a lot about the protests in St. Louis but don't actually know much about what's going on, let us fill you in. The protests started on Friday as a response to the acquittal of a police officer who fatally shot a 24-year-old in 2011, despite many people's beliefs that there was enough evidence to convict the officer. At least 100 people have been taken into custody, and there are reports about disturbing behavior of some police officers in St. Louis, too. Keep an eye on this — there's likely going to be a lot more info in the coming days.
Um... A Republican representative laughed off that disgusting Trump retweet about Hillary Clinton, saying that the president is "just a fun guy." OK, then.

OMG: This new Harry Potter fan theory is so creepy — and it actually makes a whole lot of sense.
Hot Dudes Reading + Hurricane Relief
Hot Dudes Reading has always been a fun Instagram account to peruse now and then (or obsess over... no one's judging), but now, the 12 writers behind the account are working to do good, too. They're using a GoFundMe to send books to kids affected by the recent hurricanes, and you can help Hot Dudes Reading's campaign by donating ASAP. Every $10 donated sends 18 books to children in need. So what are you waiting for?
Fun Fact: The newest words added to Merriam-Webster's dictionary include "Sriracha" and "alt-right." Sounds about right.
Today's WTF Moment: A school is reportedly making its female students send photos of their dresses before homecoming for approval. No thanks.
What to Watch: Tonight's the Season 25 (!) premiere of Dancing With the Stars, so tune in to ABC at 8 to see celebs like Sasha Pieterse and Nick Lachey showing off their moves.
