The 'Jersey Shore Family Vacation' Trailer Will Take You Right Back To Those GTL Days

Let the nostalgic meatball lover within you rejoice, because Jersey Shore Family Vacation trailer and premiere date are here, and they're both nothing short of ideal. First of all, the premiere — you can expect that on Thursday, April 5, which MTV is officially terming "Jerzday." And no excuses for not tuning in, OK? Seven out of eight of the original cast members cleared their schedule to make this work, so you can too.

In alphabetical order, that's Deena Nicole Cortese, Paul “Pauly D” Delvecchio, Jenni “JWOWW” Farley, Vinny Guadagnino, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, and Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, who will all be hitting the Miami beaches and your television set come April. Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola sadly will not return, but maybe after she sees what a good time everybody's having in the trailer, she'll change her mind for Season 2. Cross your fingers.

It's only 20 seconds long, but the sneak peek provides more than enough information to reassure audiences that not much has changed. (You know, besides everything.) "When the f*** they going?" the trailer asks, before splicing in images of each houseguest as it counts down from five to one. There's Snooki full-throated "woo-hoo-ing" over a jar full of pickles. There's Pauly clinging to Vinny in a hug, shouting, "I've missed you!" into his ear. There's Vinny clinging to Ronnie. There's six out of seven cast members raising their glasses to something, with The Situation not participating, likely since he's been sober since 2015 and reportedly stayed that way throughout filming, according to TMZ.

A lot has changed in Sitch's life, and he's not the only one. For example, most of the castmates are no longer living the same single life they were during the MTV show's original run. All three of the returning women are married now — to the men they were dating when the show was first on the air, interestingly enough — so the notorious Smush Room will have to find other uses.

Snooki married Jionni LaValle in 2014, and the pair have two children — Lorenzo Dominic, born in 2012, and Giovanna Marie, born in 2014. Jenni married her longtime boyfriend Roger Mathews in 2015, and they also have two children — Meilani Alexandra, born in 2014, and Greyson Valor, born in 2016. And although she's not a mother yet, Deena walked down the aisle with her boyfriend Christopher Buckner in 2017.

In fact, the only one of the women who isn't married thus far is the only one not returning — Sammi Sweetheart. Sammi and returning castmate Ronnie had a volatile relationship throughout their time on the show, and his presence just might have something to do with her absence. But regardless, although Sammi hasn't yet tied the knot, she's been dating a man named Christian Biscardi since Summer 2017, and Snooki told OK! Magazine that a wedding isn't too far off.

Vinny is reportedly tied down too, to new girlfriend Elicea Shyann, according to Life and Style magazine, Mike has been linked to longtime girlfriend Lauren Pesce for years now, and Ronnie announced in December that he and his girlfriend Jen Harley are expecting their first child. Only Pauly is coming into this season single, if reports of his Summer breakup with Aubrey O'Day are accurate.

But even though the circumstances are different, these are the same old housemates, and they're clearly excited to be here. "We're your new neighbors!" shouts Deena, waving across a body of water at the apartment buildings on the other side, and Pauly D closes out the trailer with a trademark "yeah, buddy."
