Sara Altschule is previving and thriving. She found out she is BRCA 2 positive early this year — She is documenting her experiences along the way to finally undergoing a prophylactic bilateral double mastectomy with reconstruction. She believes it's important to share her story, as difficult as it is at times. She hopes that by sharing her journey with others, it will lead to an awareness of early detection and help others navigate these scary waters. If you or anyone you know is going through something similar, please feel free to reach out to her at saraaltschule@gmail.com
