What Kind Of Sketches Will Trump Do On 'SNL'?

by Allyson Koerner

Who's ready to make fun of Donald Trump? A particular NBC variety series sure is. On Tuesday, it was announced by NBC that Donald Trump is hosting Saturday Night Live on Nov. 7 with musical guest Sia. This will be the second time the 2016 Republican presidential candidate has taken on the role of SNL host, as he previously hosted in 2004. Social media and the Internet erupted as soon as the news was announced, because, well, it's Donald Trump. With that said, it's time to start brainstorming about the kinds of sketches Donald Trump might do on SNL.

There are a ton of options (and I'm sure the former host of the Celebrity Apprentice has a few of his own), but I've narrowed it down to eight potential sketches that SNL should totally do. Also, if the NBC series takes my ideas seriously does this mean I get paid or at least a percentage of Trump's paycheck? Seeing as I'm a woman, I'm sure he would have a few words about that. Anyways... that's a topic of discussion for another day.

As for Saturday Night Live, here are some predictions for the sketches that might be featured during Trump's episode.

1. Hillary Clinton

It's no secret that Trump and Hillary Clinton like to go toe-to-toe, which will most likely continue during his SNL hosting stint. Whatever the sketch entails, I, for one, can't wait to see Kate McKinnon play her best Clinton — and show Trump why a woman can be president.

2. His Views On Women

From 2016 republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina to Heidi Klum to FOX News' Megyn Kelly, Trump's been on a roll when it comes to insulting women with sexist comments. Please, SNL, don't let those of us down who want to see Trump put in his place (again) about his unnecessary remarks, all while he hopefully makes fun of himself in the process.

3. Kanye For President

Surely, Trump has thoughts about Kanye West running for president in 2020, so he could insert his thoughts into an sketch. Also, seeing as Clinton joked that West could potentially become vice president if she faces reelection, well, you know Trump needs to parody that, stat.

4. Arnold & Celebrity Apprentice

Now that Arnold Schwarzenegger is hosting Celebrity Apprentice , Trump has to do a sketch about it, right? After all, he's the former host of the NBC reality competition. This is the perfect opportunity for Trump and SNL to come up with new ways to say "You're fired," including but not limited to, "You won't be back" and "Hasta la vista, baby."

5. That. Hair.

Trump's unique hairstyle will never cease to be a topic of conversation. Anyone else hoping Sia performs wearing a Trump wig that also happens to cover her face?

6. Make America Great Again!

There has to be a sketch poking fun at Trump running for president, his campaign, and his slogan, "Make America Great Again!" It wouldn't be an episode of SNL without the show taking jabs at the fact that Donald Trump wants to someday be called, "Mr. President."

7. A Jimmy Fallon Cameo

Wouldn't it be glorious if Jimmy Fallon showed up and did some kind of skit with Trump? First of all, that's a great day for everyone. Secondly, seeing as Fallon is a former SNL cast member and has previously put on sketches with Trump, this would 100 percent be a success and make fans truly happy.

8. Taran Killam's Donald Trump

Finally, now that Taran Killiam is impersonating Trump on SNL, he will most definitely do his impersonation the same night Trump hosts, right?

What sketch are you looking forward to most? Let's face it: no matter what kind of material Trump and SNL provides viewers, it will be the talk of the night and provide (hopefully) some great entertainment.
