Kim Kardashian’s New Kimoji Update Is Actually Really Empowering — PHOTOS

Just in case you thought Kim Kardashian's Kimoji app couldn't get any better, the reality star went ahead and added a new update. She shared the news on Twitter on Thursday, encouraging her fans to go ahead and check it out. Sure, the app itself costs $1.99, but it's totally worth the splurge when you find out what's inside. Kardashian tweeted,

Somehow she managed to leave out the best part. Believe it or not, the new Kimojis are pretty empowering. Yes, you read that correctly! Included in the new update are a tampon and birth control pills — two things that tend to be way too stigmatized. Women's sexual health is something people may blush at (even though it's 2016), but Kim K doesn't shy away from including these essentials in her app. The previous version of the app already had a condom, but props to Kardashian for adding in birth control pills too. Female contraception is equally important. As for the tampon, periods shouldn't be a taboo topic either.

Of course, I'll admit that the app isn't 100-percent perfect. There's a speech bubble that says "Turbo THOT," which, frankly, is pretty demeaning. Plus, there's a GIF of that Keeping Up With The Kardashians scene where she hits Khloé with a purse and calls her "so f*cking rude." Neither of those are acceptable ways to interact with another human being.

Still, in this case, the pros outweigh the cons. There's even a churros Kimoji (Chrissy Teigen will be pleased) and beignets, because everybody knows those are Kardashian's favorite New Orleans dessert. In case you're still on the fence, here's a round-up of ways to use the new and improved Kimojis in your everyday life:

1. When You're On Your Period

This is the series of Kimoji you send when your roommate asks if you need anything from the grocery store.

2. When Your Student Loans Bill Comes

Go ahead, take all my money. I'll just be sitting here like this:

3. When You Have The Biggest Food Cravings

Because sometimes, fried food and cupcakes are the only answer.

4. When Someone Asks The Key To Your Heart

This is an actual x-ray of what my heart looks like.

5. When Someone Asks What You Want For Valentine's Day

Forget the flowers! Chocolate and red velvet cake all day.

6. When You Have To Break The Bad News To Your BFF

Although it's a little harsh, sometimes this is the sad truth. Luckily, broken hearts can be mended with the items in example #5. It's much better than sitting by and not saying anything, right?

7. When Someone Is Annoying You

The heart-shaped candies cushion the blow.

8. When You Discover The Birth Control Kimoji

Now this is the real reason why the app is worth downloading. Kardashian proves your sexuality isn't something to be ashamed of. In a way, it's pretty liberating.

Just in case this news makes you feel like dancing, don't worry! There's a Kimogif for that too.
