7 'Sex And The City' Celebrity Guest Stars You Probably Forgot All About

When it comes to Sex and the City, no one on the planet will argue with the fact that Sarah Jessica Parker was absolutely the standout star of show. OK, fine — I'll play fair by admitting that Carrie Bradshaw's amazing wardrobe definitely came in at a close second. If you were completely blinded the character's smile, her charm, or the sparkle of her studded Manolo Blahniks, then hey, I can't say I blame you. But allow me to pause from my overt Sarah Jessica Parker/Carrie lovefest to illuminate a few of the other famous folks who made guest appearances on Sex and the City that you might have forgotten about.

I mean, there were aplenty. From Jon Bon Jovi to Alanis Morrisette to Vince Vaughn, Elizabeth Banks, Hugh Hefner and Jennifer Aniston's beau Justin Theroux (twice!), SATC is listed on the resumes of a quite a few Hollywood stars. If you don't recall any of these appearances, that's completely understandable because, obviously, the show's four main characters had more than enough drama for viewers to contend with.

But just to refresh your memory, here are 7 famous Hollywood faces who landed roles on Sex and the City that you may not remember:

Bradley Cooper

In a blink-and-you-miss it scene, Cooper and Carrie shared a steamy kiss in a car before their date ended awkwardly.

Chandra Wilson

The Grey's Anatomy actress graced the SATC set in 2002 when she played the part of a police officer, which was the show's first episode to be filmed after 9/11.

Kat Dennings

The 2 Broke Girls played the role of a sassy teen planning her bat mitzvah who appeared to be totally obsessed with herself — and Carrie.

Geri Halliwell

Halliwell's brief SATC cameo managed to add some extra spice to the scene (along with Samantha's hip-hugging jeans).

Blair Underwood

In Season 6, Underwood played Miranda's neighbor and love interest, Dr. Robert Leeds.

Bobby Cannavale

The star of Adult Beginners had the pleasure of playing one of Samantha's dates, but something was a little, um, off about their sexual chemistry.

Amy Sedaris

Perhaps Sedaris' SATC cameo served as a little bit of foreshadowing for an upcoming connection between the show and Saturday Night Live. The actress’ SNL colleague Molly Shannon (who also appeared in three SATC episodes) is set to co-star in SJP’s upcoming HBO series Divorce.Images: HBO
