Matt Lauer + The Latest

After Matt Lauer was fired from Today on Wednesday due to allegations of sexual misconduct, the former host has released a statement addressing the situation. In it, Lauer apologized to his former coworkers (albeit not directly to the women he allegedly abused or harassed), and acknowledged that there is "truth" in the claims.

And Another... Russell Simmons is stepping down from his companies after being accused of sexual misconduct.

Beyoncé + JAY-Z

In a new interview with The New York Times, JAY-Z explained why he cheated on Beyoncé, saying that he "shut down emotionally" and wasn't able to connect with his wife. It's the first time the rapper has confirmed the infidelity rumors, but he also said in the interview that he and Beyoncé are doing well now, so you can breathe a big sigh of relief.
