The ‘Pump Rules’ Reunion Details Are Intriguing
As a legendary forearm tattoo once said, "it's all happening." Last Friday, Andy Cohen sat down with Lisa Vanderpump and the Sexy Unique Pumpers and parsed the perfect fifth season of their perfect reality television show. Yes, just a few short days ago, the Vanderpump Rules cast filmed the Season 5 reunion. Call me Prince Tardon the Cavalia horse, because I am already chomping at the bit. Can't wait to see what got resolved, what didn't get resolved, what was only made worse, and what Giggy and Harrison the Pomeranians had to say about all of it.
I hope the Pump Rules reunion special is, like, 10 hours long. At least. There's just so much content to cover: The Bubbas' nuptials, the winter bodies feud, the bachelor/bachelorette trip to New Orleans, the RV septic tank, the seagull who refused to poop on command, the drink toss at the Study, the rooftop sci-fi film shoot — I could go on and on and on and on. This season of Pump Rules is what reunion specials dream of.
So, what do we know about the Pump Rules Season 5 symposium? Here are some reunion details that’ve SUR-faced.
James Kennedy & Jax Taylor Apparently Sat Together
According to the seating chart, Taylor spent the Season 5 reunion plopped down right next to Kennedy. Yes, the same Kennedy and Taylor who wind up in verbal fisticuffs whenever they're at the same bar. Can’t wait to see how that setup worked out. Brava to Bravo.
Stuff Apparently Got “Intense”
On Monday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Stassi Schroeder said she’s still unpacking what sounds like an intense post-season sit-down. “I just texted Katie [Maloney] and Kristen [Doute] before I came here," Schroeder told Cohen. "I was like, ‘Um, I don’t think I’ve actually processed what that reunion was.’ And they all were like, ‘Samesies.’” Cohen agreed, adding that the experience was “intense.” I’ll be sure to buckle my SUR-tbelt.
Lala Kent Apparently Was There
The former Pumper wasn’t included in the seating chart, but she was included in the reunion snaps. What a relief.
Mike Shay Apparently Was There
Yes, it looks like Scheana Marie’s estranged ex was at the reunion.
Oof. Their situation is such a bummer. Hope their reunion at the reunion went as well as it could've gone.
Peter Madrigal Apparently Was There
And thank goodness. What would a reunion be without Manager Peter's craft cocktails?
It Apparently Didn’t Happen At SUR
On WWHLWAC, Schroeder mentioned that the Pumpers walked to a bar downtown right after filming. Not to go all Los Angeles geography on you, but SUR isn’t exactly within walking distance of Downtown L.A. I mean, I guess you could walk to SUR from DTLA, but it’d take you, like, three hours. Here’s me putting two and two together: They didn’t film at SUR.
What’s a reunion without SUR's tiled bar watching over the cast? I guess we’ll find out this season.
It Apparently Happened At The Conga Room
If the reunion selfies are to be believed, it looks like the Season 5 reunion took place at the Conga Room at L.A. Live. Will the Conga Room wallpaper play as big a role in the reunion as SUR's tiled bar did? The truth will come out.
