Bustle's Editors On Charlottesville + Shonda Rhimes
Happy Monday, everyone! I think I speak for everyone when I say we all could use a break after this absolutely insane weekend. The tragic events in Charlottesville had all our attention, and we can only hope that the next few days are far less upsetting.
But alas, there's still plenty to talk about when it comes to Charlottesville and much more. Read on for a recap of everything that had Bustle's editors talking today, Aug. 14.
Charlottesville + What To Know
Over the weekend, a racist "Unite the Right" rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, turned deadly, with a counter-protester killed and many others injured. There was much uproar over Trump's initial response, which condemned violence "on many sides," and today, he finally called out the Neo-Nazis and white supremacists by name in a speech at the White House. Too little, too late.
How To Help: If you want to give back, here's a list of ways to help the victims of Charlottesville, and here are several organizations that fight the alt-right you can donate to right now.
Shonda Rhimes + Netflix
This is major: after many years at ABC, Shondaland is moving to Netflix. Shonda Rhimes just signed a huge production deal with the streaming service, meaning that she'll be creating new shows for Netflix in the coming years. But don't freak out: her current ABC shows, like Grey's and HTGAWM, aren't going anywhere, so you'll be able to get your Shonda fix no matter what.

Britney + Justin
OMG, you guys. It's looking more and more likely that a Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake collab is in the works (!!). The producer Timbaland indicated recently that the duo are teaming up, but details on the potential collaboration are nonexistent. Here's hoping more info comes soon, because '90s kids everywhere need this to happen.
Book Recs: Lin-Manuel Miranda's vacation reading list will make you swoon over the Hamilton creator even more.
Today's WTF Moment: Turns out Kim Kardashian and Nicole Richie once got caught shoplifting... a single tube of Revlon lipstick.
