17 Beloved Jennifer Lopez Outfits You Forgot About, But Need To Remember — PHOTOS

Jennifer Lopez has been a style star for decades. Before Kim Kardashian, J.Lo was the reigning curvy girl in Hollywood and her outfit choices always proved how body positive she was and continues to be. Since her infamous Versace dress at the 2000 Grammys, Lopez has been reminding the world how confident she is about herself and her body, and it only seems to get stronger with age. J.Lo has rocked some awesome outfits over the years, many of which you've probably forgotten. Let's take a trip down memory lane, because you're going to want to refresh your memory for these.

J. Lo's signature style is often form-fitting, and in recent years, she's chosen to stick to a fairly neutral color palette. However, that wasn't always the case. In 2014, Lopez went through a very serious cut-out phase, which I totally admire. She also must have a great relationship with Zuhair Murad and Versace, because she is consistently rocking their designs both on and off the red carpet.

In celebration of the 15th anniversary of Lopez's J. Lo album, which came out on January 16, 2001, I went through all of her red carpet appearances to find her best outfits ever. The most amazing part about recapping J. Lo's best style moments is that you can barely tell the difference from Lopez when she was 25 and when she was 40. So if someone knows her anti-aging secret, please feel free to send it my way.

This dress might not seem scandalous now, thanks to the likes of Nicki Minaj and Rihanna, but this dress got some insane press attention back in 2000. Easily J.Lo's most iconic dress.

I'm pretty sure J. Lo brought the cape back in this Donna Karan dress. Also, did Ariana Grande steal her signature hairstyle from J. Lo or was it the other way around?

This blue dress is so pretty. J. Lo should seriously consider wearing more blue in the future.

Lopez evokes old school glamour in this beaded dress and fur stole. She looks like she could be going to a Hollywood party in the 1920s, and who doesn't love that?

J. Lo's beautiful olive skin was perfectly complemented by the vintage green dress she wore to the 2006 Oscars. Probably one of her best looks to date.

J. Lo's mirrored Pucci dress was a hit at the 2011 Grammys.

Do you think J. Lo put on this dress and thought "I look like a princess?" Because this dress is so majestic. I love it.

Lopez could easily wear this beaded slip dress on a red carpet today and totally be on trend.

I can still remember wanting a hat just like this (and shades) because of Jennifer Lopez. People don't realize how big of a fashion icon she was (and still is!).

15. Gigli Premiere, 2003

I think J. Lo might have inspired the sock bun trend with her hair back at the Gigli premiere in 2003. Also, remember Bennifer 1.0?

16. Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards, 2004

This outfit is the epitome of 2004. The cargo capris, hat, and sequin cropped cardigan are just too much for me to handle.

17. Oscars, 2002

The dress is pretty, but not necessarily memorable; however, her hair was so iconic.
