Bustle's Editors On Harvey Weinstein + 'The Last Jedi'
Hope everyone had a great long weekend! The new week is off to a tough start, with the disturbing Harvey Weinstein scandal making all the headlines. For more on that and much more, read on for a recap of everything that had Bustle's editors talking today, Tuesday, Oct. 10:
Harvey Weinstein + New Allegations
Last week, an exposé in The New York Times alleged that mega-producer Harvey Weinstein has committed sexual assault and harassment several times over the last few decades, and now, a New Yorker piece alleges that Weinstein has committed rape, as well. (His spokesperson Sallie Hofmeister told The New Yorker, "Any allegations of non-consensual sex are unequivocally denied by Mr. Weinstein.") In addition, actors like Gwyneth Paltrow and Angelina Jolie have revealed that they were allegedly sexually harassed by Weinstein during their careers, and as the hours pass, more names keep adding to the list. These brave women speaking out deserve all our respect.
Quote Of The Day: "Every time you see someone using their power and influence to take advantage of someone without power and influence and you don't speak up, you're complicit." — George Clooney, on Weinstein.
Star Wars + The Last Jedi
The new trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi dropped late Monday night, and it's major. From the epic battle scenes to the Carrie Fisher moments to the appearances of everyone's fave creatures, porgs, the trailer could not be more exciting — or more mysterious. Seriously, is Rey going to join the dark side?! Ugh, December cannot come soon enough.

Jemele Hill + What Happened
Over the weekend, it was announced that ESPN had suspended host Jemele Hill over a series of tweets the network said violated its social media guidelines. Hill, who had previously been suspended for tweeting that Trump is a "white supremacist," posted on Sunday that people who disagreed Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones' recent comments — that players who don't stand for the anthem should be benched — should boycott Cowboys' advertisers. Many people are outraged by ESPN's decision to suspend Hill, and voicing their support for her on Twitter.
