Jenn Barthole

Based in New York City, Jenn Barthole is a freelance writer for Bustle, where she contributes celebrity fashion content. Jenn also contributes wellness, interior, celebrity, fashion, beauty, and travel stories to publications, including: ELLE, Glamour, Refinery29, Domino, TripAdvisor, Cosmopolitan, EBONY, PopSugar, and The Knot.

Her skill set includes writing, creating brand campaigns, conceiving advertorials, and storytelling for brands invested in women’s interests. Her mission is to empower and educate women and girls through her work.

Jenn graduated with a major in communications and a minor in Spanish, from Loyola University in Baltimore, Maryland. She also has a Master of Business Administration from Syracuse University.

Although she’s originally from New Jersey, Jenn has been based in NYC for 11 years and enjoys exploring museums, new restaurants, and different neighborhoods. She also likes watching Broadway shows, taking long walks on the Westside Highway, and spending leisurely days in the park. Her hobbies include cooking, reading, working out, and taking art classes. She also volunteers at Step Up, an organization that empowers high school girls as they prepare for college.
