Amanda Whiting

Amanda Whiting is a writer at Bustle. She covers scripted television with an eye toward literary adaptations, international series, and anything that starts off with a person going missing. Since 2015, Amanda has covered politics and pop culture for Washingtonian Magazine, where she writes about DC media personalities and profiled Tiffany Trump. She has bylines at Vulture and personal essays in Lit Hub and The Inertia. In another life, she covered surfing for Honolulu Magazine. Amanda has a BA in Philosophy from Williams College and an MFA in Creative Writing from Rutgers University. Originally from New Jersey, Amanda lives in Brooklyn with her husband and daughter.
