Nasra Ayub

Nasra Ayub is a freelance writer and international campaigner, based in Bristol and London. She mostly covers politics, social and cultural issues, race and religion. Nasra has previously written for gal-dem, Stylist, DAZED, Metro and more. She also has a Politics and Philosophy degree from the University of Bristol.

Nasra is a recipient of the Diana Award Winner 2020, for her work in tackling violence against women and girls. She has been featured on The Guardian, ITV, BBC Three and BBC 1 speaking on race and other social justice issues.

When she’s not writing or ranting about injustices, she can be found obsessing over British crime dramas thinking she can do a better job than the detectives.
