Niellah studied English Literature & Creative Writing at Aberystywth University. She is a founding member of gal-dem, a publication amplifying the voices of people of colour from marginalised genders, and currently works as the magazine's Lifestyle Editor. Niellah has written for a number of publications including The Independent, Time Out London, The Guardian, and Vice, and has published essays in two books: 'I Will Not Be Erased' and 'In The Garden'.
